By the Spirit

Awesome story here!

So last tuesday, together with my new companion (Sister Peterson) We tracted into this area and seems no one is interested to know about our message. Its almost 4:30pm. but still no success.. But we really feel that there is something in that area, that we need to go extra mile and search for that purpose. So finally! We knocked into this big house. One women opened the door she said.. "Not interested, im atheist, i dont believe in God." (with straight face) and I was like (not again.) But as we used the HTBT bullets points, her heart was quickly soften. She said..

"You know, my son passed away, and I dont have any reason to believe in God anymore.." and we immediately said to her.

" We know exactly where your son is." and with anticipation she said.. "You do?! Oh, please come in. Please.. please tell me where is my son right now.."

We taught her the whole plan of salvation, and we bore our testimony that families can be together forever..

with teary eyes she said.. " Wow, now its all clear now, my son is in your age.. your parents must so proud of you right now.."

We invited her to pray about the Plan of Salvation and follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptize by proper priesthood authority of God.. and guess what?? SHE SAID YES!

Oh man!!!!!!! 

I testify that  If we have the Spirit of the Lord to guide us, we can teach any person, no matter how well educated, any place in the world. The Lord knows more than any of us, and if we are his servants, acting under his Spirit, he can deliver his message of salvation to each and every soul..

Baptism+Weapons of War+Transfer

This is week is awesooomee!!!

1. We had baptism! My first fruit of hardwork! Amen to that! Hahaha

She's Joanna, and she's the most prepared-golden investigator eveeeeerrr! I mean it! I remember one day she said..

"I wanna get baptize!" and..

"I want my interview now." (bap interview)

and we're like... AWHEDGADBEDBUAEFDABSDU!!! 

2. Weapons of War:

We had a spiritual lesson with our LA, and we shared a scripture verse about the weapons of war" (Alma 24)

19 And thus we see that, when these Lamanites were brought to believe and to know the truth, they were firm, and would suffer even unto death rather than commit sin; and thus we see that they buried their weapons of peace, or they buried the weapons of war, for peace.

And so we made a paper sword with her. We asked her to write something that she's willing to give up in order to be fully converted. She wrote.. "Cigarette"

17... they took their swords, and all the weapons which were used for the shedding of man’s blood, and they did bury them up deep in the earth. 

We went outside of her house and she buried her tobacco deep into the ground.. 

18 And this they did, it being in their view a testimony to God, and also to men, that they never would use weapons again for the shedding of man’s blood; and this they did, vouching and covenanting with God, that rather than shed the blood of their brethren they would give up their own lives; and rather than take away from a brother they would give unto him; and rather than spend their days in idleness they would labor abundantly with their hands.

With teary eyes she said..

" I know its hard, but i can do this.."

3. TRANSFERS!!!!

Waaaaa! This is crazy! HAHAHA but I won't be transfered, just so you know! :)

I'm gonna meet my new companion tomorrow. Yay! I'm so stoked!! :)
